Nokia 1 is the company first smartphone that is running on the Android 8.1
Oreo.It is finally available in the market of India.nokia licensee HMD global
had announced the smartphone at the Mobile world Congress in the Barcelona
in February this year. The Nokia 1 is among the first handset in India which is
with the Android Oreo.

The Android Go ecosystem promises to deliver an opt-
imised experience in budget smartphones and comes with light weight versions
of Google apps and services,such gmail go and Google maps Go.The key feature
of the nokia 1, The company’s most affordable handset,is the ability to use
Xpress On Two-Tone polycarbonate exchangeable covers that lets users perso-
nalise its looks.

NOKIA 1 Android Go Specification

The dual-sim(nano) Nokia 1 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA(480*854 PIXELS) IPS
Display. The smartphone is powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core Media-Tek
MT6737M processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It features a 5-megapixels
camera at the back with focus lens and an an LED flash. Ont he front the
handset has a 2-megapixels fixed focus camera.

Onboard the Nokia 1 is 8GB opf inbulit storage, expands upto 128GB. The
smartphone offers 4G VoLTE,WiFi 802.11b/g/n, BT v4.2,GPS/A-GPS, FM radio
,Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack. it bears an acclerometer , ambient light
sensor,and a proximity sensor. The 2150mAH battery on board is ratyed to
deliver upto 9 Hr of talktime and upto 15 days of standy time.The smart-
phone measures 133.6*67.78*9.5mm. A headset comes in box.

The Nokia 1 price in india is Rs.5,499, and the smartphone is available across
moblie phones outlets in the country . It comes in the Dark Blue and Warm
Red clor options. Meanwhile the Xpress On Covers have been priced at rs.450
and available un Azure and Grey or yellow and Pink. These covers will be avai-
lable seprately starting next month.

Additionally , telecom services provideer Reliance Jio is offering a cash back
offer worth Rs.2200 making the effective price of Nokia 1 to come down to
Rs.3,299 ,HMD Global said the the buyers will also get 60GB of addional data
on the Network. The users will also get insurance od 12 montgh eligible for
Accidental damage Insurance by Servify on the opening the Kotak 811 saving
accounts, The company claimed in a press realsese. Finnaly there is 20 %
discount on the first booking ride via redbus.
